About Martin
Martin Dawson founded BankAdvisor in September 2025 to bring the major UK digital and high street banks together in one place, where their accounts can be seen side by side rather than one at a time.
The aim is to set out fees and features in enough depth that readers can make an informed decision for themselves — comparing accounts on the same criteria, showing the limitations alongside the strengths, and never presenting one bank as universally best.
He researches and writes the reviews and comparisons on the site, and applies the same review process to every provider regardless of whether a commercial relationship exists.
